Synopsis:
The episode starts with Kicker walking through the Arctic looking for something. Suddenly he finds an energon beam and runs towards it. He is standing in the beam and trying to figure out how he got there. He sees a mountain and recognizes it then suddenly he wakes up! It was all just a dream! He searches the computers for the mountain he finds it.
Kicker is now with the Autobots looking for the mountain. Strongarm is out with him and says that he needs to tell the others where they are. Ironhide, Demolisher, and Hot Shot are out looking for the energon beam as well. Demolisher is still trying to figure out if the sword he say was really Megatron’s.
Back to Unicron, Tidal Wave and Cyclonus are bringing in some energon. They go off to search for Megatron and they find him! He is still trapped in the rock though. Cyclonus is trying to wake Megatron but he will not wake. Tidal Wave and Cyclonus go off to find Scorponok. They want to know if it is really Megatron. Scorponok tells them to stand their ground because he has Megatron’s sword. He tells them that they need to ask Alpha-Q and Cyclonus and Tidal Wave start getting excited. Alpha-Q starts talking and tells them they need more energon. With the energon they can awaken Megatron.
Back to Optimus talking to Rad about the grand force. They send them to Optimus ad Optimus goes super-mode. Optimus states that he likes them. He changes back to normal mode and tells his troops that they need to send the coordinates to Dr. Jones. Jetfire argues that they might be intercepted.
Ironhide and Demolisher are still arguing in the snow. Ironhide really doesn’t trust Demolisher. Hot Shot steps in and breaks them up. Demolisher brushes past both of them and walks off. Kicker is still searching but some snow starts falling. Hot Shot tells him to come back to base and they can search some more when the snow passes. On the way back to base, Kicker falls in a deep ravine. Hot Shot and the others figure out that Kicker is in trouble and they go off to find Kicker. Hot Shot tells Strongarm to watch the base. In the ravine, Kicker has a flash back to when he was younger. They are searching for energon on Mars. The Omnicons are building a base on Mars. Kicker finally awakens and wonders why he was dreaming of his dad. He figures out he fell quite a good distance and that he is at the bottom of a ravine.
Commercial Break
Hot Shot is still looking for Kicker. He finds the ravine and Kicker explains that he is ok. Demolisher and Ironhide confirm with Hot Shot and they go to the ravine. Back at Autobot base, Inferno alerts Optimus that enemy troops are on their way to Kicker. Optimus alerts Hot Shot and suddenly Cyclonus and Tidal Wave show up. They want the energon that the Autobots haven’t even found yet! Hot Shot tells him there is no energon and they wouldn’t get it anyways. The fire at hot Shot and he falls into the ravine as well. Cyclonus and Tidal Wave take off to find Demolisher. The Terrorcons start to attack Demolisher and Ironhide who fire back.
Back in the ravine, Kicker is unable to climb out. An avalanche causes the walls to fall down and Kicker takes off up the slope. They cannot make it up but they do find energon!
Hot Shot catches up with Ironhide and Demolisher and stars attacking the Terrorcons. He has sent Strongarm off to find Kicker. Tidal Wave and Cyclonus show up and start talking to Demolisher. Cyclonus sees Strongarm and tries to take off after him. The Autobots stop him.
Back in the ravine, Strongarm is trying to lower pipe to reach Kicker. They finally get out of the ravine and transmit the coordinates for the energon. Terrorcons are on their way but Optimus and Inferno show up to stop them! They land and start attacking the Terrorcons. Optimus goes super-mode and talks with the troops. Optimus tells them they must withdrawal. The Terrorcons start digging for the energon while Tidal Wave and Cyclonus watch. Suddenly a new city starts emerging from the clouds! It is landing on the energon point and crushes the Terrorcons. Tidal Wave ad Cyclonus barely emerge alive. Cybertron City is huge! Scorponok shows up and starts griping at Cyclonus for not getting any energon. Suddenly the Decepticons start attacking! The cities automated defenses start firing. Signal Flare scans Megatron’s sword. Scorponok retreats while Demolisher watches and debates whether Megatron is alive. Meanwhile, Kicker realizes that his dad, Dr. Jones, is still watching out for him.
Commentary:
The big question in the episode is when is Demolisher going to switch to the Decepticon ranks? Probably when Megatron arrives. Decent episode with a little more character development for Kicker.
