Synopsis:
The episode starts with Dr. Jones attempting to get the energon he sent to Kicker back. Rad calls in asking about the Autobots. Rad says the black hole is about to collapse. Dr. Jones tells him to keep an eye out for them. Dr. Jones and his family then discuss how Kicker may or may not know what is best. We then see a flashback of the energon transfer and basically the last entire episode. After the flashback, Kicker’s family is talking about how Kicker has learned to trust the Autobots. Now we have another flashback to Kicker meeting Optimus for the first time. He is shown hiding from Optimus and meeting Primus for the first time. Back to his parents talking about how Kicker discovered the energon. Now we switch to the first episode with Kicker running from Demolisher and Hot Shot and escaping from Ocean City. It also shows the first vein of energon the Omnicons find along with the Terrorcons attacking. Now we switch to another flashback of a confrontation before Megatron took over Unicron. Now Sally, Kicker’s sister, is telling about how the battles keep going on and never stopping. The initial launch of the Miranda 2 is shown as well. Sally is asking when Scorponok and Alpha-Q switched to the Autobots side. More flashbacks of previous episodes are shown.
Back in Ocean City, Dr. Jones and family are talking about how the government people finally left. Alexis has called in and asks him to join her in Jungle City. Dr. Jones takes off for Jungle City and sees something familiar. Once he lands, Alexis meets him and shows him the ruins that were previously destroyed. She explains that they are being rebuilt and they go to look at the real reason why she brought him to Jungle City. They take a ride down an elevator and she shows him an active energon mine. They found more below the original mine. She then explains that the world government will control this energon mine. Dr. Jones is going to be brought on as an advisor for the humans. Back in the black hole, Kicker, Ironhide, Misha and the Omnicons are just now going through the other side as the episode ends.
Commentary:
The only thing new in this episode was showing the newly discovered energon vein. The rest was a complete flashback episode.
