Synopsis:
The episode starts with the Autobots still blasting their way through Unicron.
Megatron is waiting for the Autobots to arrive. He doesn’t seem to mind the fact that he is greatly outnumbered. He calls the other Decepticons back and finally has to force them back. Scorponok tries to follow but is caught in the walls. Alpha-Q rescues him. In Unicron, Inferno and Shockblast are trying to fight. Inferno attempts to shoot Shockblast, but he throws up a force field to stop him. Shockblast is intent on taking out Megatron as well. Meanwhile, Ironhide has just caught up with the other Autobots. Suddenly Unicron attacks yet Alpha-Q just rescued them! Optimus decides that they are running into one of Megatrons traps. Instead of going the way they were going, Optimus orders them another way. Back in the belly of the beast, Alpha-Q attacks Megatron with metal spears. Megatron manages to stop them and send them back to Alpha-Q.
On the Miranda 2, Kicker tells Alpha-Q that Optimus needs his help. Kicker also tells him that Optimus is the only one with the power to stop Megatron. He asks Alpha-Q to join the Autobot team. Kicker convinces Alpha-Q that to get their planet back, they must work together and help Optimus.
Inferno is still trying to take out Shockblast when the other Decepticons start to attack. Scorponok helps out as the Autobots escape the fire. They make their way through Unicron in vehicle mode. Kicker tells him the good news about Alpha-Q helping them. Misha and Kicker then discuss what it will take to win the battle.
On Earth, Dr. Jones is having the different cities report in with the amount of available energon. Suddenly Alexis intervenes and asks why Dr. Jones is having everyone divert the energon to him. Alexis is really irritated at the doctor but he explains that they must do so or else they will not survive.
Back in Unicron, the Autobots are still trying to figure out a way to get to Megatron. Optimus calls him out and Rodimus tells him it is not his own war. Optimus quickly puts him in his place. Megatron answers Optimus and sends him a path. As Optimus takes that path, a beam comes out from Shockblast and takes out his arm. He lost his first arm in the previous attack. Now Shockblast takes out one of his legs! Megatron gripes at him for attacking as Prowl runs to Opimus’ aid. Rodimus and the Autobots are really mad that they did that to Optimus. Ironhide tried to stop but Optimus, with no arms and 1 leg, orders him to go with the others. Ironhide obeys and leaves Optimus sitting there. As they take off, Snowcat and Demolisher show up, start laughing at Optimus, and start attacking!
Back on Cybertron, we see the rebuilt Wing Dagger! Rad informs him of what is going on and he takes off for Unicron! Snowcat and Demolisher are still blasting Optimus and missing badly. Scorponok shows up and runs the Decepticons off. Optimus asks him what he is doing and Scorponok tells him it is his job.
Kicker tells Dr. Jones that they are ready and they start the energon transfer. The energon travels through the warp gate towards Unicron!
Back on Unicron, Shockblast has blasted open to Megatron and wants to take over and lead the Decepticons. Starscream uncloaks right behind Shockblast and stops him.
Farther down in Unicron, Optimus is loosing energon fast. Suddenly the energon arrives! The Miranda 2 is barely out of the way as the blast slams into Unicrons head and Alpha-Q. Optimus is surrounded by the energon and the Decepticons are being knocked down. Everything goes red with energon and suddenly Unicrons head turns into a star! The red star starts emitting energon and gives Optimus a new boost! Kicker and Misha watch on as the episode ends…
Commentary:
Interesting episode. I wonder what it will mean now that Unicrons head is a star? Does this mean Alpha-Q is going to finally gain complete control of Unicron? Also, what about Wing Dagger. It is obvious from the toy that he will be renamed Wing Saber, but when will he finally arrive to help out Optimus? Stay tuned for the next episode!
