Synopsis:
The episode opens with Alpha-Q talking about every new shipment of energon making Unicron stronger. They need to collect more energon and the only way they can do that is to destroy the Autobots. Alpha-Q goes to Megatron and they want to wake him! Megatron will be reactivated, but not now.
Ironhide and Jetfire are trying to powerlink but they can’t. Jetfire tells him that if he cannot concentrate enough, that they may never powerlink. Ironhide is left standing there as Jetfire walks away.
Back on Mars, some Autobots are watching over the energon on Mars. They need the Autobots help to defend themselves.
Dr. Jones is telling Optimus that there are both Mini-cons and energon on Mars. Ironhide runs in saying he wants to go to Mars. Optimus is going to help out the Mini-cons. Dr. Jones is telling them that the Mini-cons have detected 2 unknown Transformers coming towards Mars City.
Back on mars, the Mini-cons are ready to defend themselves. Tidal Wave shows up and they recognize him. They ask if he is friend or foe and Tidal Wave asks about the energon. Tidal Wave attacks as do a bunch of Terrorcons. The Star Saber team blast off just as Scorponok shows up and starts attacking!
Ironhide, Jetfire, Kicker, and Hot Shot are running out to meet Optimus. Optimus tells them that they are not going to Mars because it is a trap. They need to defend Earth instead of going after the Mini-cons on mars. Kicker races off and starts talking to Demolisher. He tells Demolisher that they are expecting company. Cyclonus shows up! Demolisher and Cyclonus start talking and he tells Demolisher about Scorponok and how he is going to now lead the Decepticons. The Star Saber Mini-cons show up! They report what happened on Mars City.
On Unicron, Scorponok and the Terrorcons show up and deliver the energon. Alpha-Q gives Scorponok the Star Saber/Megatron’s sword! He pulled it right out of Megatron’s chest. Scorponok is going to use the sword to take all of the energon on Earth!
Commercial Break
On Earth, Ironhide and Kicker are talking while an alarm goes off! The Earth is under attack! Skyblast and Strongarm boost the Autobots with energon while Cyclonus and Demolisher show up wanting to go. They get mad because Optimus will not allow them to go and race off on their own.
Elsewhere on Earth, Tidal Wave, Scorponok and the Terrorcons are attacking an Autobot base. Cyclonus and Demolisher show up and see Tidal Wave! The Autobots show up as well and they start to divide up and go to fight the Terrorcons. Optimus goes super mode and starts fighting the Terrorcons. Tidal Wave and Cyclonus are talking and Tidal Wave tells Cyclonus that Megatron will awaken. Cyclonus does not believe him and start shooting. Hot Shot finds Scorponok and tries to attack but Scorponok gets to him first. Underground, Kicker and Ironhide, along with the Mini-cons, want to fight. Kicker does not sense anyone, so they take off. Back outside, Optimus meets up with Scorponok and see Megatron’s sword! Demolisher and Cyclonus are dumbfounded that Megatron might still be alive. Tidal Wave informs them that they need energon and Cyclonus switches sides. He starts blasting at the Autobots who call him a traitor. The Terrorcons blast the town to bits. Suddenly, the Mini-cons combine into the Star Saber, but it is yellow! Demolisher does not believe that Megatron could be alive and is under a personal struggle. Kicker has the sword and knocks back a Battle Ravage drone without effort. He finally figures out that he can ride the sword and jumps on it. Jetfire and Ironhide finally super link and kick some Terrorcons butt! Meanwhile, Kicker throws Superlink Ironhide the sword. Scorponok and Optimus are fighting and Optimus is down. He launches Prime Force off at Scorponok and knocks away Megatron’s sword. It lands in front of Demolisher and he cannot believe it is Megatron’s sword. Optimus and Scorponok stopped fighting and Superlink Ironhide is going to fight Scorponok with the Star Saber! Optimus grabs Scorponok and pins him before Ironhide hits him. The Terrorcons retreat before he gets a chance! Cyclonus runs off and Demolisher doesn’t know who he is anymore… Optimus tells Ironhide that he did well, but do not dwell on the past. Instead, focus on the future and what they must do.
Commentary:
Each episode only gets better! This episode deals with Demolisher and is wanting to know where he fits in. One day he will decide whether he is an Autobot or a Decepticon; however, it will not be before he sees Megatron face to face. Seeing the Star Saber Mini-cons in different colors was interesting as well. Megatron's sword is from the new Megatron, so how did they recogize it as the Star Saber? Guess we wait until next week!
