Synopsis:
The episode starts with Ironhide telling about the new defenses the Autobots have developed. An attack group of Divebomb clones attack and get blown away by the guns! They do not stand a chance against the gun emplacements. Alpha-Q is trying to figure out what is happening. In the asteroid belt, Jetfire sets up the Divebomb clones there for a slaughter. Alpha-Q figures out they have improved their defensive abilities. Ironhide is running from the Battle Ravage clones and leading them to a ravine. He jumps in and they follow only to be destroyed by the guns in the wall. Alpha-Q knows they are being stopped at every turn, but there is nothing they can do. He wants to eliminate them!
Mica and Kicker are talking and watching the Skyblasts build the gun emplacements. Kicker thinks it is great that they are using energon instead of batteries for the guns. Mica tells him that the energon was meant for peaceful purposes but Kicker informs her that using them to destroy the Terrorcons is using the energon for peaceful purposes. He says that his dad wanted to use the energon to power everything. Mica tells him that she learned everything from his dad. Kicker’s hair goes yellow and he tells Mica that he can sense them coming. Mica goes underground and Kicker races off to help defend the base. Optimus blasts the Terrorcons and launches Prime force. They attack and Optimus tells Skyblast he needs him. Mica finally returns to the underground base and tells them to open the guns and start firing. The guns start blasting the Terrorcons. They need the secondary weapons online, but need more energon. Optimus combines and forms Super Mode. He kicks some Terrorcon drone butt. Kicker tells Strongarm to cover him and he goes out to help Optimus. He ropes a Battle Ravage and gets pulled underground. Optimus has to take care of the Terrorcon drones by himself. Kicker lets the Terrorcon run to the energon while Strongarm watches. The drone digs into the energon and creates an energon chip. Strongarm removes it, knocks down the drone, and they power the secondary guns with it. The secondary weapon bays open with Tidal Wave and Scorponok caught between them! They open fire on the ambushed bots but don’t get hit much. Finally, Tidal Wave and Scorponok retreat. About this time, Ironhide and Inferno show up. Kicker informs them that the Decepticons have already left.
Alpha-Q is angry at Scorponok and for not bringing back any energon. He lets him know he is dispensable and gripes about not having enough energon. Alpha-Q is really hacked about not getting the energon.
Meanwhile, Tidal Wave and Cyclonus are talking to Megatron even though Megatron is a rock. Cyclonus kicks Megatron’s rock statue and Megatron tells him not to do that. Cyclonus says that he likes him better in this state. We hear Megatron ask him what he just said. Now Cyclonus is scared. About this time, Scorponok shows up and tells them he is there is rectify a little problem. Tidal Wave believes it is Megatron and Tidal Wave fires up Megatron’s sword.

Back to Scorponok, Tidal Wave, and Cyclonus standing beside Megatron’s statue. Alpha-Q tells Scorponok that they must eliminate the Decepticons. He hits Tidal Wave with the sword. Suddenly a green light goes through the rock and stops at Megatron. Scorponok slams Megatron’s sword into Megatron’s chest. Something is happening and Scorponok wants to know what it is. We see Megatron’s sword go into his chest and the rock starts falling. Megatron lives! Slowly the rock explodes off of parts of him and finally his face explodes! Megatron exclaims that he is back! The first thing he wants to know is who Scorponok is. Megatron and Scorponok start to fight! Scorponok send some drones but Megatron destroys them in one hit. Scorponok hits Megatron with his tail, but that is it for Scorponok. Megatron throws him against the wall and Megatron starts wailing on him! Hit after hit land on Scorponok and he is helpless to do anything. Cyclonus and Tidal Wave watch in awe at Megatron’s power! Cyclonus tries to get Megatron to stop, but he won’t! Hit after hit continue to fall. Alpha-Q tries to get him to stop now. Scorponok tells Megatron that he wins, but Megatron hits him again! He tells Megatron that Alpha-Q is behind everything. Cyclonus agrees with Scorponok. Megatron then proceeds to brand Scorponok with the Decepticon logo and welcomes him to his team! They lead off to find Alpha-Q and find him. Alpha-Q is surprised that Megatron has control against the Terrorcons. Alpha-Q takes off but Megatron tries to stop him. They chase him for a bit and a wall slams down. With one swipe of his sword, Megatron destroys the wall. Again the chase is on. Finally they trap him by a wall. Alpha-Q is right where he wants to be! He tells Megatron that he has been doing Unicron’s will when suddenly, the walls start to crumble and Alpha-Q disappears in Unicron’s head! The entire head warps to somewhere else.
Back on Earth Kicker runs up to Ironhide and tells them that they need to help Hot Shot. Ironhide tells him not to worry, but Kicker tells him who just showed up.
In the attack on the base, Megatron is using Scorponok as a shield! He tells him he passed and throws him into the water. The Decepticons attack the base while Hot Shot looks up at them coming.
A warp gate is opening and Optimus, Ironhide, Inferno and Kicker emerge. They see the complete destruction of the base and then notice the Decepticons. Megatron tells them that they are probably surprised to see him and throws Hot Shot’s seemingly lifeless body, missing an arm, over to them! Ironhide screams in horror!
Commentary:
Whoa!!! Megatron is back and badder then ever! Megatron's return was just as good as it could have gotten. The only problem is now the Autobots are overwhelmed! What will this mean in the future? Hopefully new Autobots are on the way!
