Synopsis:
The episode starts with Megatron sitting on his throne thinking about the energon field above Cybertron. Cyclonus and Demolisher are watching him trying to figure out what is gong on. Megatron grabs them with some wire from Unicron and starts to chew them out. Cyclonus tries to reason with him but instead is throw against the wall. Starscream appears and holds his sword up to his throat. Megatron continues to interrogate Demolisher. He knows there is more energon. Demolisher is unwilling to mention the fact that Kicker found the energon. However, Cyclonus blurts it out. Once presented with that information, Demolisher spills it all. Scorponok shows up with some more information about energon on the Moon base. Megatron decides to attack the Moon base.
In Unicron’s head, Alpha-Q is trying to figure out how a human can feel energon. Suddenly a new face pops out! This face must be the face of reason.
On the moon, Kicker and Ironhide are out looking for energon. Kicker thinks there is still energon around Lunar City. Elsewhere on the moon, Optimus and the Omnicons are looking for energon. Kicker shows up and decides to take the battle ravage along to see if that helps finding the energon. Optimus goes super mode for the fun of it. Ironhide, Kicker, and Signal Flare let the battle ravage run off to see what it is sensing. Suddenly Demolisher shows up! He explains that he has decided to desert Megatron while he could. Next thing we know, more Terrorcons show up! Optimus calls in for Ironhides status but Megatron stops him from helping. The other Decepticons show up to take out the Autobots. Optimus calls for Inferno and Jetfire while trying to defend against the Decepticons.
Watching over the battle, Rodimus, Prowl, and Landmine let the Decepticons attack. On the battlefield, Kicker decides to go with Demolisher and the Terrorcons! Ironhide tries to stop him but it unable to. Dr. Jones and the others are watching Kicker walk away with the Terrorcons. Above them, Rodimus and gang are also watching. Coming through a warp gate, Inferno, Jetfire, and Hot Shot join Optimus is attacking the Decepticons. Alpha-Q tells Scorponok that they must not let Megatron take control of Kicker. Instead of helping the Decepticons, Scorponok is going to take out the Decepticons with the Mobile Fortress! Demolisher tries to stop him but is knocked back. Ironhide tries to help Demolisher but the help is refused. Suddenly Scorponok starts firing on the Autobots and Decepticons! Before long, something opens up and starts firing on the mobile fortress. It seems that the Omnicons on Lunar City were there the entire time and had created a base! Optimus calls for an energon tower and Dr. Jones delivers! The tower is setup on Lunar City and Megatron tries to take it out. Optimus and the Autobots successfully prevent them and energize the tower. The Decepticons retreat in a hurry.
Further away from the base, Kicker tells the Terrorcons to get away. The battle ravage Terrorcons opens its mouth and Alpha-Q starts talking to him through it! Kicker is surprised to learn of Alpha-Q and talks to him and him needing energon. Ironhide tells Kicker that they have to move to avoid the energon blast. Optimus’s copter arm rescues Kicker as he wonders who is Alpha-Q. Ironhide is trying to figure out what side Demolisher is on as Cyclonus comes and gets him. As they take off, they try and grab Kicker but Rodimus stops him! Unfortunately it is not yet the time to help out the Autobots.
On the mobile fortress, Megatron is fed up with Cyclonus so he transforms him into Snow Cat! Megatron yells at Scorponok for failing with his attempt to steal the Mobile Fortress.
On Earth, Dr. Jones is bragging about how the energon tower stopped the Decepticons. Also, Misha and Kicker are talking about how they luckily found the Omnicons. Kicker is also trying to figure out who shot at Cyclonus.
Commentary:
So the Omnicons were still on Lunar City after all. They also found the time to build a new base but not contact the Autobots. Now that Alpha-Q and Kicker have met, what is going to happen. Also, the transformation of Cyclonus to Snowcat was cool. Next episode should intro Snowcat.
