Synopsis:
The episode starts with Megatron explaining to Shockblast that Unicron needs energon. He tells them that he is going to feed Unicron the planet Cybertron and that Shockblast is in charge. Shockblast has a plan for the energon grid.
Back in Unicrons head, Kicker is trying to get Alpha-Q to talk to him. He is getting frustrated and starts kicking Alpha-Q! Scorponok tells him to stop and Ironhide picks him up. The Autobots tell Kicker to stop messing with Alpha-Q and he storms off upset.
In the control center, the Autobots notice that Unicron is closing on Cybertron. They activate the energon grid and the Autobots power up! Kicker is still mad and Misha attempts to persuade him to calm down. Jetfire and Rad are in the control center watching Unicron. The notice a mobile fortress and take aim at him. Wing Dagger walks in and says he is there to help.
Shockblast is giving a pep talk to the Decepticons troops. Suddenly the Autobots launch an attack from Cybertron! The Decepticons take cover as Unicron fights back. Now the Autobots warp in and transform. Jetfire reports in and tells Optimus that they are about to be attacked by Unicron.
Back in the Decepticon mobile fortress, Shockblast sends out his elite troops yet tells the regular Decepticons, ie Shockwave, Starscream, Snowcat, and Demolisher, that they are not elite troops. He tells them they are just here because they are Megatrons lap dogs. He finally agrees that they can come.
In Unicrons head, Alpha-Q wakes up and notices that Kicker and Misha are coming to see him. Alpha-Q sends out some Insecticon Terrorcon drones to attack her. Kicker arrives with the energon saber just in time for Misha to yell at him to not attack them. Misha walks right up to the Terrorcons and tells Alpha-Q to back off. She walks through them yet they shot at Kicker.
The Decepticon mobile fortress rams the energon field and breaks through! The troops jump out and start blasting the towers. The Autobots show up and start defending the towers. Inferno and Hot Shot powerlinx and start attacking. The Decepticons see the troops being bombarded and start shooting the Autobots. Shockblast runs off and start attacking a single tower.
Back in Unicrons head, Kicker finally gets past the Terrorcons and get the Alpha-Q. Misha is stopped by Scorponok yet walks right under him. She tries to start talking to Alpha-Q but he is not responding. Scorponok tries to stop Kicker from getting to Alpha-Q and is successful. Misha is still trying to talk to Alpha-Q and starts hugging him! She is enveloped in a light as Kicker looks on.
In the fight, Ironhide takes off to defend a tower and Optimus goes to assist him. Snowcat starts blasting them as Optimus saves Ironhide. Back in Unicrons head, Misha finally gets Alpha-Q to respond. Misha is shown her parents grave and past memories. She is trying to persuade Alpha-Q to get on board with them. In the fight, Shockblast is successful in taking down an energon tower! Optimus and Ironhide have to run out of the way to avoid being hit by the tower. Suddenly a light rope comes out and grabs on to Shockblast. It is Wing Dagger! He is trying to take down Shockblast even though Optimus tells him to let him go. Back in Mishas memories, Alpha-Q is showing her memories of an innocent Kicker. Misha tells him that he does not know Kicker and that he has grown up so much. He might be able to save them in the end. Snowcat and Demolisher are watching the elite troops being destroyed left and right. Megatron shows up to help them out and to yell at them! Misha finds out that Alpha-Q is fighting to get their planet back. Alpha-Q awakens and tells Misha that Megatron must be destroyed. Kicker agrees.
Wing Dagger is still hanging on to Shockblast and refuses to let go. Optimus orders Jetfire to help Wing Dagger. Megatron shows up and starts fighting with Optimus. Megatron orders Tidal Wave to get the pest off of Shockblasts back. He takes out another energon tower and tries to trap Wing Dagger under the falling tower. Tidal Wave shows up and gets in their way and traps all three under the tower! Shockblast is helped by Megatron but Tidal Wave is hurt badly. The Decepticons take him off and they all retreat.
The Autobots are standing over the fallen Wing Dagger. Optimus tells Ironhide that he is gone and did what he must do, protecting Cybertron.
Commentary:
Another nice episode. The main purpose of this episode was to show Alpha-Q agreeing and coming on board with the Autobots. It also showcases how Wing Dagger and Tidal Wave die. Now that they are dead, will they be reformatted into Wing Saber and Mirage? Check back the next episode to find out!
