Synopsis:
The episode starts with Misha and Kicker looking at a pyramid in the jungle. They are talking about how it is their special place. Birds take off from the jungle as military helicopters arrive with large crates.
The Autobots are watching the delivery of supplies for some new energon towers. It looks like they are building a new city!
We see Starscream in some kind of field with Alpha-Q talking about how his memory has been erased. They are watching the Terrorcons move to attack the Autobots energon supply.
In Unicron, Megatron is talking to Starscream in front of the other Decepticons. Starscream cannot remember any of his past. Suddenly a monitor activates, showing the Terrorcons moving to attack the Autobots.
Back in the jungle, Misha is telling Kicker about the Mayan history. Suddenly Kickers head turns gold and the Terrorcons arrive! They take off on the bike to see what is going on. Kicker reports in to Optimus that the Terrorcons are trying to dig into the mines. Optimus tells Hot Shot to close down the mines and put the Omnicons on alert. Optimus tells Hot Shot to call in Jetfire and Inferno because something is coming from the air as well. Ironhide informs the Omnicons that they are about to be attack. Jetfire and Inferno show up, checkout the Terrorcons, and report back to Optimus. At the mines, Misha is asking Optimus to protect to ruins. She then leaves with Alexis and leaves Kicker and the Autobots to protect the energon mine at all costs.
Back on a mobile fortress heading towards Earth, Megatron is laying out his plan to destroy the base to the Decepticons. They should be arriving soon and plan on a big battle.
At the mines, the Omnicons give the Autobots energon stars to help protect them. Deeper in the mines, the Terrorcons have found the energon! They start to process it as the Omnicons are leaving. Ironhide makes sure the Omnicons are leaving along with Kicker and Inferno. They do not think all of them are out so Kicker and Ironhide take off to find out for sure. Optimus powerlinks and begins firing on the Terrorcons, along with Jetfire and Hot Shot. The automated defenses active as well. Suddenly the Decepticons arrive and start to attack!
In the mines, Kicker and Ironhide have found some more Omnicons. They argue that they cannot leave the energon. Kicker finally convinces them to leave and they seal off the entrance to the mines. Unfortunately for them, the Terrorcons arrive and attack! On the surface, the battle is going full strength. The Decepticons seem like they have an advantage until Optimus steps up and stops him. In the mines again, Ironhide and Inferno are creating an ambush for the Terrorcons. They wait patiently for the Terrorcons and once they show up, they fire! On the surface again, Megatron orders Tidal Wave to destroy the towers. Once again in the mines, Inferno and Ironhide are picking off the Terrorcons one by one. Suddenly more Terrorcons arrive and overwhelm them, forcing them to retreat.
The Autobots are losing the battle and it seems like all is lost. The Decepticons finally manage to take out the tower. It seems as if the battle and fortress is lost. Optimus makes one more attempt to destroy the Decepticons by blowing up the fortress with the Terrorcons and Decepticons in it. Ironhide is given the responsibility of destroying Jungle City. With one blast he destroys the complex and mine. Jungle City has been lost.
Back in Ocean City, Misha finally finds Kicker. Ironhide agrees that Optimus made the right decision. Optimus tells them it is time to get on with their mission. Misha and Kicker are still staring into the ocean. Suddenly Kickers head goes gold and he decides Lunar City has survived! They are now going to build a new energon tower on the moon!
Commentary:
An average episode but does show the destruction of Jungle City. It seems that the Decepticons are more powerful than the Autobots now. Soon we will see the introduction of new Autobots to balance out the power.
