Synopsis:
The episode starts with the Omnicons and Kicker landing on Cybertron again. Above Cybertron, Ironhide is watching the energon cloud for the Autobots. As they are watching Cybertron, we hear Alpha-Q talking about how the Autobots cannot get to the planet. They must stop Galvatron and are depending on Kicker. On the planet, Kicker and Arcee are looking for other Autobots. They find the Omnicons and now need to find the energon pipeline. Some Autobots are watching Kicker and the Omnicons and go to report to the other Autobots on the planet.
In the control center, Six Shot has discovered the Autobots around where the Miranda 2 went down. Galvatron thinks there is a problem but Six Shot tries to calm him down. Starscream thinks it would be best to send out a recon mission and Galvatron agrees. He sends out Contructicon Maximus and Bruticus Maximus. The Autobots we saw earlier are now running from the Terrorcons. Six Shot has pin pointed them and shoots their base. Even more Autobots show up to know what is going on. Kicker and Arcee are still looking for the energon pipeline.
With the Terrorcons still searching for the Jones family, Sally’s mom is still making food! Rad and Dr. Jones have found the elevator leading to Primus but it is out of commission. The Terrorcons have found them! Now they must go down the elevator shaft by jumping.
Near the Miranda 2, Contructicon and Bruticus are using it for target practice. The unknown Autobots are trying to contact Optimus but to not avail. They go to the crash site to look for survivors as Constructicon and Bruticus shoot other Autobots out of the sky. They attempt to attack but are unsuccessful.
At the energon pipeline, Kicker and the Omnicons are trying to stop the gas flow. They see the other Autobots fighting near the Miranda 2. Kicker and Arcee take off to explore. At the battle, Constructicon and Bruticus are taking out the Autobots. They do not stand a chance. The Autobots valiantly attempt to stop the Decepticons but must run away. Kicker and Arcee show up and stop the Decepticons. At the pipeline, the Omnicons has successfully inserted the gel to stop the gas. The gas is now going to start to clear since the gas has stopped. The Omnicons are now going to send a signal to Optimus.
At the crash site, the Autobots have finally gotten away from the Decepticons. Arcee explains to Kicker that the Autobots probably went underground. The Omnicons launch the signal and Optimus and the other Autobots are going down to the surface! In the control center, Six Shot has detected the Autobots. He also detects the energon pipeline blockage. Galvatron tells him to fix it before they lose the towers. At the pipeline, the Decepticons are coming! Kicker takes off on Skyblast to lead the Decepticons away. Above Cybertron, the Autobots are still waiting for an opening. Kicker is telling Skyblast that they need to shoot an energon star at the tower to blow it up. The launch 3 stars but nothing is happening. They wait patiently and the tower finally blows! Above the surface, the Autobots see the hole and go for it. The Omnicons see the tower exploding and start to fire on the Decepticons. The Decepticons link up and start attacking the Autobots. Suddenly the other Decepticons, Mirage, Snowcat, Demolisher, and Starscream show up and start firing! Before long, the Autobots show up and drive off the Decepticons. Galvatron appears and starts fighting with Optimus. Hot Shot and Ironhide attempt to intervene but the Decepticons stop them. Six Shot is watching the action and decides to take control by releasing the energon gas. Optimus sees the energon gas coming and orders everyone away. Galvatron also sees the gas and knows who is involved.
The other Autobots came out of hiding to report in to Optimus. The leader of those Autobots knows of a safe place to hide from the gas.
Wing Saber is still fighting Scorponok when some Autobot reinforcements arrive. They are shot down and Star Saber finds out he is supposed to shut off the gas, but how? The show ends with Alpha-Q telling how the Autobots are now being forced underground.
Commentary:
This episode mainly showed how the Autobots finally were able to land on the surface of Cybertron. What happened to Dr. Jones and Rad when they fell down the elevator shaft leading to Primus? Also, how are the Autobots going to overcome or stop the energon gas? Find out next episode!
